NEW MEMORIAL GARDEN
Date: MONDAY, DEC. 4TH 2023 AT 11 A.M.
The new Franklin Cemetery Memorial
Garden is completed and ready for use.
Located on the old “Potter’s Field” portion
of the cemetery behind the work shed in
the middle of the cemetery, it is ready to
receive ashes for scattering in the Garden.
We are very pleased with the results of this
new addition to the Cemetery to enlarge
the options for burials. There are 11
(eleven) niches in the retaining walls of the
Garden for ashes placement with a bronze
sealing plague for $5,000. All other burials
in the Garden will be scattered amongst
the ground-cover and mixed into the soil.
Scattered burials in the Garden are $1750
per person for space in the Garden and
$100 at the time of scattering. Designation
of persons buried in the Garden will be on a
2”x7” cast bronze plaque with the person’s
name and dates, attached permanently to
the retaining walls of the Garden at $150.
Use of the Memorial Garden can be
arranged by contacting Steve Bancroft,
the Cemetery Administrator, at
Incredible scenery at every turn, and the
relaxing, therapeutic smell of flowers in
our garden make our cemetery a popular
destination for people to walk, sit, have
lunch or just relax or meditate. See our
photos below to view our beautiful burial
grounds.
